Power of Prayer

My son hit his head and was rushed to the Hospital. He underwent surgery to relieve the pressure of blood on his brain. His mother and I have been beside our self since. Knowing the Gospel and being a promoter of the Word, all I could do was pray. Prayer is much more effective when you get others to join in the same cause. I posted and you responded. For that I am exceedingly grateful.

The day after his accident, they removed the ventilator. The next day they removed all of the other tubes and monitors attached to him. He was lucid and talking. Yesterday, he was up walking and eating on his own. This was only three days after the event. This was all due not only from my prayer but everyone who joined the chorus of affirmation for healing of my son. As I write this, I look forward to more miracles today due to your prayers. Paul instructs us on this in the Book of Philippians.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4

So today I give thanks for those of you who have offered up prayer on my behalf. To encourage you to know that prayer works. Not only for the injured like my son but for everyone you pray for. Rejoice in God's love for you through the sacrifice of His Son. Be anxious for nothing as God has told us He loves us and will care for us. But in prayer be thankful for all He has done for us and what He has waiting for us. Look for the peace of God to surround you and your loved ones as you navigate this sometimes dangerous and sinful world.

Psalm 115

May you be blessed by the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15

God bless and rejoice this day God has made. Know he walks with you all the days of your life. Continue to pray my friends.

And that is the Whole Truth!

May God truly bless you in your walk with Him.

And remember, God always answers His kneemail.
