The Coronavirus has decimated this whole planet. Over two million people have lost their lives to it and I hope you will join me in a quick prayer for them and their families. God Bless them all Lord.
Fortunately, scientists have developed vaccines that are pretty effective to avoid the virus or make it less invasive. Doctors are recommending that everyone get inoculated.
There is another virus that has been plaguing mankind for thousand of years. It has taken the lives of BILLIONS! This virus is man made and seems to be unavoidable. But I am here to tell you there is a vaccine for it as well. This virus I speak of is called sin. It has caused us to become socially distant from our Creator and requires us to wear a mask of civility and innocence when behind it is violence and wickedness.
We have become locked down on this planet with no hope of freedom from this bondage. Resources are always low and panic sets in and the first sign of pending doom. It is a terrible existence and many just can't endure and just bring an end to it all.
Ah but there is a vaccine. One that frees us from the bondage and allows us to remove the mask. One that provides us with all that we need and allows us to reunite with the One who has made it all possible. This vaccine does not come from a vial or given by shot. It is free for everyone and in great supply! It can easily be found and provides relief almost immediately.
This vaccine I speak of is in the pages of the Bible. The Word of God is the defense against all agents and the best anti-virus money can buy. It provides protection against sin, how to overcome it and lays out a program to avoid it in the future. Unlike the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, this vaccine is best taken weekly if not daily.. More inoculations of this vaccine are the recommendation of holy men and women across the globe. It frees us from the bondage this world tries to enslave us in and protects us from the attackers who want to see us six feet underground.
Ain't gonna happen to me and I pray for you and yours it won't happen to you. Take some time this weekend and open up the pages of God's Word. His Son wrote it over the course of 2,000 years and it is the best medicine for a sin plagued world. The Book of Psalms alone will drive out worry and doubt as well as any evil presence in your life.
As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord is tried: He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him. 2 Samuel 22
The Covid Vaccine will bring an end to this deadly virus and the Bible will bring an end to sin. If not now then eventually as it foretells a time when sin and viruses will no longer exist. Until then get your biblical inoculations daily and become immune to the virus of sin. The Word of God is much more than a shot in the arm. Amen!
