Last week, I received an email from Donald Trump Jr stating "My father chose you". It was an email blast offering a free MAGA Hat to anyone who donated to the campaign. I am sure many of you may have received it as well.
After seeing this, my mind immediately went to the Father of us all. It was the Father who chose Jesus to be His gift to the world to be a ransom for many. He sent His Son to walk among us, endure temptation, live without riches or glory like so many aspire to do and give His life at an early age to pave the way to eternal life.
God the Father through His Son created us all to be with Him and be His children. He knew the end from the beginning and this plan of redemption was foretold at the very beginning of man, God has created each one of us individually and even knows the number of hairs on our head. That is how intimate He knows us and wants to be our Father to interface with Him eternally. He is not willing to lose any of us...
If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish. Matthew 18
God the Father chose you from the beginning to be His son or daughter and anxiously awaits our return to His kingdom. We were predestined to be with Him through adoption to sonship. A title that places us above all creation.
He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will – Ephesians 1:5
We are the chosen. Understand that you are a unique creation by the Creator of the universe and He knows you better than you know yourself. He goes to prepare a place for you and when you see it, you will be astonished at how closely it matches all of your preferences and favorites things. He will be there welcoming you with open arms and embracing the child He imagined at the beginning.
God the Father chose you. God has placed His vote for you. He roots for you and wants you to win. Accept that nomination and take up the race before you to burst through victoriously at the finish line and receive the trophy. The trophy that will last forever.
I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that He finds in you! Ephesians 1:18
And that is the Whole Truth!
