You are the Message

The virus continues to spread. Over 50,000 people worldwide have died from complications attributed to COVID-19. However, throughout this pestilence, there are many who have become beacons of light and love in this world of death and darkness.

There is an app I use called Nextdoor which tries to bring neighbors together for help and recommendations. There are many on this app who have offered up themselves to help those shut in by the virus. In every city on earth, there are healthcare workers who are risking their very lives to help those in need of care from this contagion.

These people are messengers of good and love. They sacrifice themselves for others. These are the true children of Heaven. God is using these people to spread His message. He strengthens them in the worst of times and provides a way for them to be victorious.

But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

2 Timothy 4

If you are one of these people, I wish to thank you for your service and efforts. If you are not one of these, take some time today and reach out and join the movement to dispel fear and worry. The Lord God is with you and loves you more than you know. Become His messenger. Let your mess be His way of promoting His message.

This IS our true calling here on earth. Despite the misery and failures we endure, we still cling to the hope and calling of Him who created us for His good and His good purpose. The enemy who attacks you has no weapon capable of fighting against this.

Say a prayer today for the healthcare workers and those on the front lines helping others to overcome this scourge. Play a part in the solution and at the very least, refrain from coming into contact with others who may have weakened immune systems. We are all in this together and together we will overcome it by the Grace of God.

And that is the Whole Truth!

Have a wonderful rest of the week and may God bless you in your ongoing walk with Him.

And remember,

God always answers His kneemail.
