Happy Father's Day God

This weekend, we set aside a day to honor our father's. The men who have sacrificed for us, protected us and provided for us. They deserve all our honor and appreciation. Whole Truth Ministries prays all fathers will be especially blessed this weekend.

Let us also remember this special day to honor our Heavenly Father who has also provided, protected and sacrificed for us. He sacrificed His Son so that we may one day live forever with Him as our True Father.

Jesus made mention of Him as our Father several times in the New Testament but did you know the Old Testament made mention of Him as our Father? In Psalms 89 we read:

Also I will set his hand over the sea, And his right hand over the rivers. He shall cry to Me, ‘You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.’ Also I will make him My firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth. My mercy I will keep for him forever, And My covenant shall stand firm with him. His seed also I will make to endure forever, And his throne as the days of heaven.

God the Father has established this world that we may inherit it and live abundantly. He overcame the sin and evil of the garden with a plan to redeem the offspring of Adam that they may once again eat of the Tree of Life. God the Father had mercy on us so that we may be redeemed. Not by our works but by the sacrifice of His Son.

Peter tells us

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

1 Peter 1:3

So this Sunday, take some time alone somewhere and offer up a word of thanks and praise to the One who makes all things possible and looks forward earnestly to the day He can draw all of His children to Himself. Amen!

Happy Fathers Day Father God!

And that is the Whole Truth!

Have a wonderful rest of the week and may God bless you in your ongoing walk with Him.

And remember,

God always answers His kneemail.
