The Winning Team

Earlier this month, over 100 million people tuned in for the Super Bowl. The San Francisco 49ers took on the Kansas City Chiefs in Miami, FL. 30 second commercial spots were going for over $5m!!

This is a billion dollar event for the NFL and the broadcast stations.

In this contest, everyone wants to be on the wining team. It gives them bragging rights for a full year on how great their team is. Winning brings fame and fortune to the participants and insures many more years of prosperity for their families. We all want to be on the winning team.

What if I told you we are already on that team! Like the Super Bowl, there is another contest going on. One far greater in viewership than the 100 million who tuned into the Super Bowl. This contest is taking place at the cosmic level and the Angels alone who are watching number 100 million not to mention the 7 billion here on Earth.

The contest I am referring to is Team God vs Team Lucifer. Team Lucifer got a huge boost in teammates when it swept a third of the angels from the Kingdom of Heaven. It is actively pursuing more inductees here on Earth. Team L as we will call them has made ALOT of touchdowns and scored a huge number of points. World Wars, plagues, 9/11 are just few of the winning scores it has made in this cosmic confrontation.

However, almost 2,000 years ago, Team G connected on a hail "Mary" pass that sent the Quarterback of the team to the cross and scored big for those of us trying to get on Team G. This huge accomplishment is replayed every Sunday in houses of Worship all across the land. The MVP has established Himself as the Leader of Team G and His actions are drawing more fans away from Team L to Team G.

Team G even created a playbook for others to follow and makes it available to all of the fans on planet earth. This playbook is open to Team L but they refuse to read it.

Being on a team is much better than going it alone. I saw numerous times in the Super Bowl when a player would help his fellow teammate to his feet after a play. Some even helped up their rival team mate. They would be good candidates for Team G.

"Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up."

Team L leads in infractions and has mounted many blitzes on Team G over the years. But Team G still scores many first downs and connects with its receivers daily. Unfortunately, Team L enjoys a large fan base and looks to increase it with every baby born.

He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3

The leader of Team L is the devil and he is trying to recruit you and I everyday. Sin is his playbook and it has shown to be very successful. However, the Son of God was manifested to win the game and defeat Team L forever.

Which team are you rooting for? In the end, Team G will be the winner of the contest and you can bask in the glow of that victory by just accepting what the Leader did for the team. The cost to follow the team is free and the rewards are outstanding! Be on the winning team. Come be a Fan and Like Team G! I promise you won't regret it.

And that is the Whole Truth!

Have a wonderful rest of the week and may God bless you in your ongoing walk with Him.

And remember,

God always answers His kneemail.
