Me changed to We

The message of the Scriptures is actually quite simple. Yes there are a lot of prophecies and instructions on how humans should behave in this world but it really all boils down to a simple concept.

At their core, the human being is very selfish. You don't have to look hard to see it. Every day we head out on to the roads, we see the me first movement in the way people drive. Discussions on human self interest date back to Socrates. In the game of survival, we humans have mastered the ability to insure our success in this dog eat dog world. We see it in corporate boardrooms, PTA meetings and in the media. Why even our churches have adopted a me first mentality.

Unfortunate as the Bible promotes the opposite. In the Kingdom of God, the rule of Law is to love your neighbor as yourself. To find this at work today is not easy to see. There are humanitarian groups who try to promote this and Pastors who still try to preach it but it is not making its way to our inner being. There is an inner struggle going on that resists this idea and places the Me above the We.

It interesting how the two words are crafted in English. In order to change the word Me to We, you simply turn the M upside down. Kinda like turning that frown upside down to a smile. It is really that simple. The same is true in the Christian as the real sign of conversion is those people who have given up their own needs for those of others. This is the fruit that Jesus speaks of in Matthew.

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. Matthew 7:18

We are all trees in the Kingdom of God and it is up to us to bear much fruit. Whether it is good fruit or bad fruit is up to us. We can either promote the Me first movement or get on board the We train. The We train is still lacking many passengers as the Me movement gains new followers every day.

The only true way to embrace the We movement and bear good fruit is to gravitate to a new Gardener. One who gave His life for ours so we could live eternally with Him in His kingdom. Don't you want to live free of death and destruction? Well it starts right now with laying down your heavy burdens of keeping the Me spirit alive and embracing the We. Flip that M around!

It is just as simple as turning that M into a W. Changing the Me to a We. This is the simple concept Jesus came to Earth to promote.

For WE are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.. Ephesians 2

And that is the Whole Truth!

May God truly bless you in your walk with Him.

And remember, God always answers His kneemail.
