Human beings require air/oxygen to breathe
Who created air?
Human beings require food and water for energy to survive
Who created food and water?
Human beings require adequate shelter and environment to thrive
Who created building materials and stable weather?
Mankind requires love and hope to prosper in this world of despair and evil.
Who created love and hope?
Mankind requires salvation to overcome the death this world requires of us all.
Who created salvation?
Hopefully, you answered God to all of these questions. For this is the correct answer. God does not need air or food or water or stable environment. God does not die or fear anything. God does not even need us. He made that clear when he wiped mankind off the face of the planet in the great flood.
Yet He saved eight human beings in those days to start over. God is all about renewal, forgiveness and prosperity. He told Adam and Eve to subdue the earth, be fruitful and multiply. He told Noah to build a boat to save himself and his family. He told Abraham that his descendent's would be greater in number than the stars of the sky.
God does not need us yet He provides for us. He provides air to breathe, food and water for energy, a stable environment for us to prosper. Most importantly, He provides a way out of the evil and despair through pages of the Bible which He handed down thousands of years ago. He provides a remedy for even death itself through the Divine intervention of His Son's death on the cross.
Why would God do such a thing?
1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
Love exists because God exists and He did all of this because He loves us. We sometimes behave like selfish children wanting our way when we desire things not healthy or good for us. We want love and attention without giving back the same and we desire riches and admiration without acknowledging who makes this all possible to begin with.
Even though we sin against all God has created and provided, He still loves us and wants us to be with Him forever. Let that sink in and you will understand the message of the Bible. This is true wisdom, God created all things, loves us and wants us to be with Him forever. Amen!
